Informant Kerby Misener, Willoughby. John Reilly Misener appears to have gone through his life known as Ray. The 1881 census shows him as John, age zero, though born in March. The 1891 census shows him as Ray, age 10. The 1901 census shows him as Ray, born Feb 20, 1880. We must believe the year to be an error, for his gravestone in Drummond Hill Cemetery shows his year of birth as 1881. The 1911 census shows him with his mother and sister in Niagara Falls, and here his month and year of birth are shown as Feb. 1881. The City of Niagara Falls cemeteries show his date of interment in Drummond Hill Cemetery as 10 January, 1971 so we must believe he died in January of the year. He is buried with his parents and his sister Grace. |
