| Note | George Hendershot is with his parents in Ancaster Township at the time of the 1861 census. He does not appear with them as of the 1871 census in Ancaster and he has not been found in later records. Oscar Hendershot was born in 1855 and survived as did Lucinda Hendershot who was born in 1865. (She is found with the family in the 1871 census, but not the 1881 census.) There were probably other children born during this time frame who did not survive and for whom a record has yet to be found. |
