An 1860 almanac does record John Dunbar as a minister of the United Presbyterian Church in Brant County. As is common with these registrations, the exact location of the marriage is not given, but was probably at the residence of the family of the bride.

BurialShe was buried on 12 October 1908 at Section 2, Mountview Cemetery, Galt. 
NoteAccording to the marriage registration, Margaret was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Stewart. Margaret had a sister Hannah who married Andrew Scott. Hannah died in Galt in 1912. Her parents' names are the same as those for Margaret. Thomas and Hannah were born in Stirling, Scotland.
