Note | Andrew's first wife was Lydia Loree. This is taken from an extract from the 1906 Historical Atlas of the County of Wellington. The individual family histories are to be found on the website of the Wellington County GenWeb. Lydia's parents, John Loree and Mary Edwards, settled on lot 12 of the 4th concession of Eramosa Township in 1827. Lydia is not mentioned by name, but she is identified as Mrs. Andrew Warner. We find Andrew and his wife Lydia in Eramosa in the 1861 census and they are in Guelph by the 1871 census. A death registration or place of burial for Lydia has not been found. A death registration has been found (below) for Andrew, but, again, a place of burial has not been found. By 1881 we must believe Lydia to be dead for Andrew married Sarah Crane Lawrason that year. They appear in the 1881 census at Guelph. With them is Sarah's youngest son Purvis, who is identified as a Warner, but is Purvis Elmer Lawrason. The registration of Andrew's marriage to Sarah shows his place of birth as Niagara and his parents as Matthew and Louis (Lois) Warner. Matthew and Lois are buried in the Warner Cemetery near St. Davids in Niagara Township. Death reg. 026396-97 Guelph, Wellington Co Andrew Warner died Sept. 6, 1897. Age 77. Residence Neeve (street).
