At one time, there was a post office by the name of Mill Creek in the twin counties of Lennox & Addington. This is not what is intended here, however. Robert Blair Fergusson's address makes that plain. When the family moved from Beverly Township to North Dumfries, they settled east of the town of Galt (now Cambridge, Ontario), in the Mill Creek area. 'Mill Creek' may have been the name of the family farm or possibly just a general location. |
