The best we may say of the Willett-Buchanan marriage is that it was registered with the Brant County registrar. And perhaps it was actually held there, at, say St.George in South Dumfries. It's also possible that Rev. Smith married the couple at the bride's parents' home, which was in North Dumfries of Waterloo County, but submitted the record to the Brant County registrar at Brantford. |
