| Note | On October 6, 1950, in Kitchener, Ebon Leroy Church filed a Statement of Birth. He states that he was born on April 29, 1885. This is in conflict with the 1901 census by one year. He says he was born in a grocery store, that his father, George Church, was a blacksmith, and that he ran a general store and post office. He gives his mother's place of birth as Milgrove, Ontario, and her name as Harriet Cummings. He is unclear as to the number of his siblings and says that 3 or 4 were born to his mother prior to him and that none besides himeself were living in 1950.
