| Note | Minota's name is difficult to read on both the 1901 and 1911 censuses at Galt though rather better on her birth registration. Birth reg. 037258-86 Galt, Waterloo Co. Minota born 20 Apr 1886 d/o Martin N. Todd, commission merchant, and Joanna Gilholm. Minota was a witness at the marriage of her cousin, Margaret Gilholm Allan. There, she is shown as Minota Todd of Galt and her name is clearly written. The 1921 census shows Alfred and Minota in Bronte Village in Trafalgar Township, Halton County. The 1957 voters' list has Alfred and Minota in Guelph. |
