| Note | Information for Robert's date of death and place of burial is taken from the inscription on his grave stone in section 4, Mountview in Galt, though it states that he was buried in Los Angeles, California. Baptised at St. Andrews Church, Galt, May 4, 1862. Robert and Margaret are found in Los Angeles at the time of the 1900 U.S. census and are said to be in the United States since 1887. Though they likely resided there the rest of their lives, and Robert died and was buried there in 1922, census records for them have not been found in 1910 and 1920. |
