Walker, clergyman, Galt Informant B. Walker has a middle initial, which is illegible. A place of burial for Robert has not been found. Initially, the names for the children of Robert and Catherine are taken from the 1871 census in Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co. They appear in Twp. of Beverly, Div. 5, page 4. This census page conflicts with his (Robert's) death registration, for the census page gives his birth place as Scotland. Most likely, the death registration is correct and he was born in New York State. Probably, Robert Carrick Sr. and Jane Harvie met and married in New York State. |
