| Note | This is Lennard W. Colvin who died July 15, 1972 at age 90 in Kimberley, British Columbia. We know this as he is mentioned as being in Kimberley in the Letters of Administration for the estate of his sister, Florence Evelyn Colvin. At the time of the 1911 census, Lennard appears in Kelowna, B.C. as a lodger. He is said to be a druggist in a drug store. Birth reg. 014033-82 Raleigh, Kent Co. 17 May 1882, Lennard William Colvin, s/o William Colvin, school teacher, Raleigh, and Jennie Head. An index shows Lennard buried in the Kimberley Municipal Cemetery. Also in the same cemetary are a Rita Colvin and a William George Colvin. At this time it isn't known if they are family. Transcriptions are not presently available. Lennard's birth registration places his birth in Raleigh, Kent County. The Colvin family bible reads: Lennard William born Wednesday, May 11th, 1882, at Buckborn, County of Kent, Ontario. |
