| Note | The Toronto Necropolis Cemetery burial book shows Mary W. Lowther, age 6 weeks, being born and dying in Scarboro. Scarborough was separate from Toronto and since such information as we have seems to place the family in Toronto during this time frame, it's tempting to wonder if infant Mary was a member. The Toronto Necropolis burial record, however, places her in the same family plot as that of her mother and her brother's Richard and John.
The burial record indicates that Mary died on February 6, 1867, that her remains were placed in the 'vault' on February 9th, and that she was buried on April 13th. This no doubt will have to do with frozen ground. |
