Leonard's death information is taken from a transcription of the family stone in Alliston Union Cemetery and from the October 2, 1957 edition of the Toronto Star, page 34. The death notice states that he died at home in Alliston on Monday, September 30, 1957. The funeral was Thursday, October 3, 1957. It states that his wife was Agnes Freeman. No children are mentioned.
