| Note | Familysearch has an image, page 93, which appears to be vital statistics for the town of Marblehead in Essex County, Massachusetts. Looking over the information, it's reasonable to say that it was written at some point after 1830, but it lists child births by family and this includes the family of Capt. William and Mary Hooper. The handwriting is not on all points legible, but the list reads as follows: Mary illeg. Hooper b. Jany. 16, 1793 Rebecca Hooper b. Jany 4, 1798 Martha Hooper b. Aug 14, 1802 Robert Chamblett Hooper b. Apr. 8, 1805 Nancy Hooper b. Dec 31st, 1806 Isaac Dodge Hooper b. Feb. 5th, 1809 Considering that Nehemiah and Martha named a son Robert Chamblet Adams, he who married Mary Emily Job, obviously after Martha's brother, it seems reasonable to believe that we are making the correct Adams-Hooper families connection. |
