His funeral notice in the December 4, 1918, issue of the Brantford Expositor says that the funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the undertaking parlors of J.A. Bannister to the Methodist Cemetery, now the St. George Cemetery. Manitoba death registration number 1918-065882 has John Fletcher's death as being on the 25th of November, 1918. The 1916 census appears to show John Lawrason in Winnipeg with wife Eliza. Nothing else has been found to confirm this information. |
