| Note | Death reg. 003783-83 Yarmouth Twp., Elgin County Hannah Misener died 22 July 1883. Age 87 years, 7 mos., 15 days. Baptist. Born New York State. Informant George Misner, Yarmouth. The Elgin County branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society provides a transcription of cemeteries in the county, including that of St. Thomas Cemetery. A gravestone for Richard or Hannah was not found by the society, but they do quote a date of death for Hannah that confirms her death date as being 22 July 1883. This states that she was the wife of Richard Misener. She at least is buried in this cemetery. Beyond this, the cemetery maintains an online index for the location of burials and this appears to place both Richard and Hannah in Old Survey B - 268. |
