McClurkin and Anna Dutch, both of Port Huron. The 1881 census at Petrolia shows Maud as the daughter of James and Sarah Seburn. This is almost entirely unreadable on the image provided by Ancestry. As well, his death registration is as follows: 013667-99 Petrolia, Lambton Co. Melvin Dufferin Laurason, 27, married, died 30 Nov 1899. Born and residing Petrolia.Methodist. Physician and informant Dr. R. S. MacApine. As noted in his death description, Melvin is said to be married. A marriage registration for him has yet to be found. |
