It tells that she was born in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to Paisley, Scotland, in her early years and there joined the Wesleyan Methodist Church. At some point, not stated, she came to Hamilton, Canada, and there married John McRoberts, who died a few years later. She was said to have spent her later years with her step-son who lived in Toronto, but would spend some weeks in the summer with her only surviving daughter, Mrs. R. G. Lawrason of St. George, and it is there that she is said to have died on August 23, 1895. |
