BurialShe was buried at Arnprior Protestant Cemetery, Albert St., Arnprior, Ont..
NoteLouila was first married to Stanley Perry. Their son Norman is listed in the 1930 census at Flint as stepson to Albert. It is believed that Norman was born in Kansas on October 24, 1918 and died in Tampa, Florida, on November 11, 1999. He may be buried in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Sumter County, Florida.

The 1901 and 1911 censuses in McNab Township, Renfrew County, place Louila's birth in Ontario. It appears that Louila was later in Kansas and still later in Saskatchewan.

Her obituary in the Flint Journal dated July 23, 1977, places her birth in Clarendon, Quebec. The above mentioned censuses place the births of other family members in Quebec, but show Louila as being born in Ontario. This is likely correct, for the family was in McNab Township, Renfrew County, by the time of the 1891 census. Since Louila was born in 1894, an Ontario birth seems reasonable. No birth registration for Louila has been found.

Louila Himes is buried in Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior, Ontario, with her 'brother' Benjamin Truman Thomas. This is how their relationship is shown on their gravestone. Benjamin appears in the 1901 and 1911 census with sister Jane, or Jennie, and his niece Louila.
