| Note | The Pettit family has not been studied by this researcher in any detail. Possibly, they are of the Pettit family, some of whom are buried in Jerseyville Cemetery in Ancaster Township. This is largely conjecture at this point. Certainly, they would not have been far from where Arents and his family lived on the 1st concession of Beverly, lot 4, prior to the move of Arents and many in his family to Garafraxa Township in 1842. |
