| Note | Mary is with her parents and siblings in Stamford Township, Ontario, at the time of the 1871 census. By 1880, she is married to William Taylor and is residing in Suspension Bridge, Niagara County, New York. With them is daughter Maud, age 1. By the time of the 1892 New York State census, Mary and William are living in Niagara Falls, New York, and with them is Maud, age 13, and Charles, age 10. Interestingly, at the time of the 1900 U.S. census, Mary's father, Luther B. Russell, is with them. Mary is said to have borne two children, both of whom are still living her and William. Mary is still living in Niagara Falls as of the 1930 census and is residing with daughter Maud, who is married to a George Wood. A photo of William and Mary's gravestone in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario, is to be seen on the Niagara Falls cemeteries web site. It tells that William died in 1918 and Mary in 1933. |
