By the time of the 1901 census, they are living in Lindsay in Ops Township and seem to have remained there for the rest of their lives. The passing of Adam is mentioned in the February 6, 1935, edition of the Lethbridge Herald of Lethbridge, Alberta. It reads: Dr. Adam Vrooman, sheriff of Victoria County, former mayor of Lindsay, former M.P. for South Victoria and former M.L.A. for West Victoria, is dead at the age of 88. He was a brother of the late Geo. L. Vrooman of Lethbridge. |
