| Note | Susan's place of birth on her marriage registration is shown as Blenheim. This may be Blenheim Township in the old Brock District (later Oxford County) or the town of Blenheim in Kent County. By the time of the 1851 census, she is with her family in Caradoc Township, Middlesex County. The family is still present in Caradoc as of the 1861 census, though they are shown as Harris, not Harrison. Marriage registrations of the children show that Harrison is correct. Also, Susan's mother is shown as Mary Ann. With the family in both the 1851 and 1861 census is a Sarah Hyburn or Kyburn. At a guess, she's Susan's maternal grandmother. The date of Susan's death is taken from a transcription of her gravestone in Moose Jaw Cemetery as provided by Find-a-Grave. |
