At the time of his death, and according to his military record, Ivan appears to have been with the 54th Battalion. The date of death on Ivan's stone in Millgrove Cemetery agrees with his date of death as shown on his army record. His name is also commemorated at the Menin Gate at Ypres, Belgium. |
