Oakel Buckberrough married Wyatt Person in 1909. He is shown as a farmer and a resident of Woodhouse Township, Norfolk County. They are still present in the township at the time of the 1911 census. There, she is shown as being born in the U.S. and having come to Canada in 1907. She would have been 13 at the time and it seems likely that she came to reside with her mother, Edith Malcolm Butler, who was residing in Port Dover at the time. Oakel and Wyatt are recorded as moving to the United States in 1915. As of the 1930 and 1940 censuses, they were in San Joaquin County.

Wyatt Person is a grandson of Charles Person and Arabella Morrison who also appear in this tree.
