| Note | The 1880 census at Millbrook gives Frederick's name as Ferdinand. The 1883 Mecosta biographies show his name as Ferdinand as well. This must be an error, for the biography shows 'Ferdinand's' birth date as Nov 18, 1870, and there is a clear birth registration for that date which reads as follows: Mecosta County Birth reg. 179, date of birth November 18, 1870.
