Note | A Delayed Statement of Birth was filed by Annie A. Morgan at Goderich on 30 October 1964. She gave her name as Annie Armelia Elliott, d/o Thomas Elliott and Ethel Smith. She places the birth for both her parents in Huron County. It is believed that Alberta was known as Ethel. Since Annie was first married to John Harvey Bell, and by 1964 her name was Morgan, it's reasonable to say that she was married at least twice. CanGenWeb's essay for Maitland Cemetery, Goderich, has a photo of a stone which reads: Fred Morgan 1905-1956 Annie Elliott 1904-1969. |
